The process begins by contacting Hms and discussing your project. We will then schedule a time for you to bring in the animal. Once we receive the animal, we will begin the preservation process and work with you to determine the desired pose and presentation of the mount. When the mount is complete, we will contact you to arrange for pick-up or delivery.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained before bringing an animal to HMS for mounting. We cannot accept any animals without proper documentation. Please refer to Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR)
HMS uses the highest quality material available on the market. We do not cut corners when it comes to tanning, glue and especially eyes!
It depends on when you bring your animal. Archery animals I like to keep around 6 months. Anything that is brought in November-January will be 10 months give or take.
